Phoned for advice after a dog bite and nobody called me back after an hour so went to the surgery, made to feel like I just ruined their day with an unscheduled illness.

Staff are abrupt, have an attitude problem.

They helped me when I suddenly fell ill with type 1 diabetes and Monklands hospital discharged me whilst I was still very ill. Church Street had me seen at the David Matthews Centre on the very same day and basically saved me.

I have never had any problems, they are always there to help and I feel comfortable and reassured with both the reception and medical staff.

I have never came across a health care provider like this EVER. The staff think that they are medically qualified to make decisions so if you would like to speak to a doctor FORGET IT, that's only when you spend half an hour trying to get through because they only have one phone line for roughly 7000 people. Personally you have more chance of getting better by heading to the local witchdoctor. They way they treat elderly patients is physically discusting, I think they are forgetting that it was that generation that help create the NHS and have made it possible for them to actually have a job. Oh yes, and then there is the patient rules, I know to 2 people who have been removed from the practice register because they have not been in a while, all to accommodate the new surge of patients - we know what that means in political terms don't we. If I could give them zero I would.

Thought I would leave a review as I have been with this practice since I was 6 years old.
